Welcome to Nina’s Safe Haven

About us

Our Story

Nina’s Safe Haven was founded with a deep passion for caregiving and a commitment to providing a safe and supportive home for those in need. Our founder, Keona Stovall, has been a dedicated caregiver for nearly five years, inspired by her late grandmother Nina, who spent her life caring for others. Following in her grandmother’s footsteps, Keona became a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and has devoted her career to helping individuals regain stability and independence.

Named in honor of her grandmother, Nina’s Safe Haven is more than just a group home - it’s a place where individuals can heal, grow, and rebuild their lives with dignity. Through shelter, counseling, job readiness training, healthcare, and life skills development, we provide the support necessary for long-term success.

While our licensed group home, Nina’s Safe Haven, is coming soon, we are proud to currently offer services through Nina’s Independent Living - a program designed for adults who need a safe, structured environment to take their next step toward independence. Residents rent rooms in a home-like setting where they gain support, stability, and the chance to start fresh.

At Nina’s Safe Haven, we believe that everyone deserves a second chance and a place to call home. Our mission is to create a nurturing environment where individuals can regain their confidence, develop essential life skills, and work toward a brighter future.

If you or someone you know needs support - or if you’re interested in partnering with us - we’d love to connect.

Welcome to Nina’s Safe Haven.

Where care, compassion, and community come first.
